  • For Sale – Tinker Tramp sail number 7059

For Sale – Tinker Tramp sail number 7059

I bought my Tinker Tramp three years ago intending to use it as a sailing tender to my catamaran but that’ has turned out to be impractical.

She was built in August of 2000 and has a serial number 7059.  I have all the original purchase documents. She shows very little use , tubes hold air well, the sails are still crisp. One floorboard has had a crack repaired and that can be seen in the photos. She has the complete rig, foot pump and a collapsible launching dolly.

    £600.

    Located in Scotland in Crieff.

          • Sold – Classic Tinker Traveller with or without Outboard

Sold – Classic Tinker Traveller with or without Outboard

            Tinker Traveller, sail number 1609.

Complete dinghy including sails, mast, boom, centreboard, rudder, pump, rowlocks, oars and all rigging.

Sailed regularly locally and in France (it’s portability was the reason I got it). I bought it nearly 20 years ago second hand so I don’t know its age, but it’s old and well used.

It sails well and I’ve also used it with an outboard (see photo below). It was attacked a few years ago by a rodent who gnawed two holes in the right hand sponson. One was easily repaired (yellow patch in picture) with Hypalon. The other is more difficult as it’s right by the forward reinforcement piece and I’ve never got it completely airtight so after an hour or so’s sailing I have to pump it up a bit! Hence the price. I’m still sailing but as it’s usually solo now I’ve downsized to a Tramp.

I am also offering a 2hp Mariner outboard in good working order.

Tinker Traveller £200. Or Traveller with outboard £325.

Collection only or could travel up to 50 mile radius from Macclesfield to deliver or hand over.

          • Sold – Tinker Tramp

            Sold – Tinker Tramp

Tinker Tramp, sail No 2031, with all sailing equipment as shown in photos, owned since 2020 and much enjoyed.

For sale only because of buying another boat and not having enough time to make good use.

Sailed much at Llangorse (Brecon Beacons), Lake District, Bala and once at Salcombe.

Previous owner painted trim and spraydeck blue and added very useful dolly wheels for launching. Make sure you lift them once afloat!

I have added the strut across the base of the mast for stability and ease of stepping, but easily removed if not wanted.  Have also added a simple kicking strap (riveted to spars).  Have replaced pintle and one valve diaphragm, and repainted/varnished all woodwork twice.

            Price £400.

            Location: Bristol
