For Sale – Classic Tinker Tramp
This classic Tinker, in good condition, comes complete with its original daggerboard, tiller, oars, mast and boom, sail and foot pump. All complete.
The valves needed replacing and this has been done.
The mainsail is in virtually unused condition. This is a sleeved mainsail, and this model did not originally come with a jib.
The transom has been strengthened and braced to take a 4hp Honda outboard which was only used once (the outboard has since been sold). I still have the rudder fittings and I can attach these pre-sale if required.
I bought this Tinker Tramp from it’s first owner in 1987. It was owned by him for a couple of years, and he barely used it. I have mostly kept it in dry storage where it remained unused due to me selling my cruiser soon after buying the Tinker. I pump it up occasionally in the garden to make sure it is still in good condition, and apart from that it has been little used.
£500 o.n.o.
Located in Guernsey, Channel Islands.

eTravelogue is available
The new format Travelogue is now available. I do hope you enjoy it. Several of your talented Tinker members have put a lot of voluntary time and energy into its publication and sorting out the most suitable delivery platform.
The new format gives greater freedom to Nigel (Travelogue Coordinator) to add extra articles and pictures etc, whereas previously if he wanted to add an extra page, he had to find material to fill four! We are also able to finance it’s publication and distribution for the foreseeable future provided the membership can provide the articles to put in it.
Seasons greetings to you all and best wishes for 2026

For Sale – Tinker Tramp sail number 7059
I bought my Tinker Tramp three years ago intending to use it as a sailing tender to my catamaran but that’ has turned out to be impractical.
She was built in August of 2000 and has a serial number 7059. I have all the original purchase documents. She shows very little use , tubes hold air well, the sails are still crisp. One floorboard has had a crack repaired and that can be seen in the photos. She has the complete rig, foot pump and a collapsible launching dolly.
£600.
Located in Scotland in Crieff.

Swarkestone Day 1
After arriving at Swarkestone on Friday night it looked like the weekend might not include any sailing as extremely light winds were forecast, (Gusts of 2mph!). It was agreed to meet for our briefing on the Saturday morning but expectations weren’t high.
However Saturday did bring some wind and although light allowed 4 races to be held. At times the win came and went so it was a good test of the quality of the sailors.
After four races the positions are Stuart, Lindsey, Al & Isolbel, JR, Ken, Nigel, Jim & Pam, Mike and Mark.
A group meal is planned for tonight and we will see what tomorrow brings.
