Tinker Foldaway RIB, with foldable rigid glassfibre hull. In excellent condition.

An ideal tender with the ability to have a fun sail too. All original accessories and bags, lifting rudder, and daggerboard.

Can be rigged for sailing, rowing or motoring and, when deflated, folds up small enough to go in the boot of a medium sized car. The mast breaks down into sections, none longer than 1.8m (6ft) and fits comfortably onto a roof rack or into an estate car.

Ullswater Rally this weekend 15th – 18th May

Ullswater is looking good this evening, the weather forecast is sunshine all the way to next Wednesday and beyond.

If you would like to come and sail with the Tinkers already here you can pay to park and launch by the day at Waterside Farm Campsite, where we are staying. Currently the plan is sail cruise on Friday, Sat and Sun racing or free sailing take your pick. Monday a motor cruise. If you want to come it might be best to book parking and launching with Waterside Farm and if you could email me commodore@tinkerowners.org.uk just to give me the heads up.

There are 7 boats already coming it will be great to see a few more of you.

Cotswold 2025 Rally Report

The Cotswold rally started with light winds on the Friday when those attending had the opportunity to setup their boats and get on the water to check everything was OK.

Saturday and Sunday saw racing during which nine boats took part in shifting winds. The results can be seen below

Monday saw the racing replaced with some fun and games on the water.

Sold – Tinker Traveller

Classic Tinker Traveller Sailing inflatable complete, sail number 1582.

The boat was purchased 1988. The Tinker has been kept inflated over the years hanging up in roof of garage (see below). It was last used in 2011, as pictured below.

All items include oars, dagger board, rudder, mast. Trolley, foot pump, mainsail & jib.

Several fender buoys, pulleys, homemade transom mount for an outboard & daggerboard slot plug and some cordage will be included along with 2 x buoyancy aids, lifejacket+ childrens, repair kit, all manuals.
