Evening – Games night
Monday 6 July Briefing 10:30 Pursuit races/free sailing or Sailing Cruise depending on weather conditions
Evening – bring your own BBQ and food – cook and eat in communal group (weather permitting)
Tuesday 7 July Briefing 10:30 Pursuit races/free sailing or Sailing Cruise depending on weather conditions
Evening – Games/Quiz night
Wednesday 3 July Pack up and fond farewells
Pursuit races will be based on individual handicaps.
Safety boat cover for racing and free sailing.
Sailing cruise across Rutland Water to café/beach for picnic/café lunch. Non sailing members can join for picnic/lunch as access by road or footpath to venue available. The safety boat operates within the extensive area of water set up for racing. The cruise extends beyond these limits we will therefore sail as a group and provide support to each other if required.
This year we have the option of hiring a committee boat to provide transport for non-sailing members across Rutland Water to the café; should there be sufficient interest. Cost will be about £5 per head. Please Note – you will need to bring and wear a personal buoyancy aid whilst on the committee boat.

A meal out is planned at the Wheatsheaf, Edith Weston, the same pub restaurant we used last year. We will book a table for 6:30pm. There is no set menu, you will be choosing from the restaurant menu and specials board on the night.
Other social activities will be a BBQ – previous format of bring your own equipment and food and eat in a communal setting (weather permitting).
The usual boules competition will be held plus some additional outdoor games (weather permitting).
A games/quiz night will be held subject to interest.
